The Joshi series
Joshi, King of the Sun Festival
Red feathers high and golden sun shining on his chest, King Joshi sits on his carved stone throne with a soft, happy smile as the Inti Raymi sun festival dances toward him. Two women spin with their shawls flying, a quena player pipes a merry tune and a little girl skips along behind, while the golden sun rises over Huayna Picchu and the terraces of Machu Picchu, a full moon and a slim crescent still glowing in the sky. Joshi is king of many civilizations, and this morning the whole mountain celebrates the sun with him. A warm, cinematic sunrise by KGOart.
